Saadiyat Beach Apartments to be ready by 2011

The first phase of the beach apartments to be set up on Saadiyat Island would be prepared for delivery by December next year as announced by the Tourism Development and Investment Company.

Tourism Development and Investment Company decides to construct 963 apartments as part of the Saadiyat Beach Apartments project and 495 of them would be finished in the first phase.

From the second quarter of next year, these apartments would be open for lease and would be competitively priced, TDIC.

The information regarding the development was given by Tourism Development and Investment Company officials during a media roundtable organized on the sidelines of Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2010.

Though they did not reveal the investment structure of these apartments, however they expressed they formed part of 55 development projects worth Dh120 billion it has undertaken across Abu Dhabi.

TDIC Development Director Alex Krell said, “It is also constructing 354 villas as the first phase of the Saadiyat Beach Villas project, and they would be ready for delivery in the third quarter of 2011.”

It is on the north Shore of Saadiyat Island where Saadiyat Beach is located and 10,000 residents are expected to live on the area when the project nears completion, TDIC.

It was maintained by the Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) of Abu Dhabi yesterday that there are no delays in 55 projects being executed at a cost of more than Dh120 billion.
