Line-up for Abu Dhabi Art revealed

The line-up for this year’s Abu Dhabi Art, running from November 7 to 10 on Saadiyat Island, has been revealed and features the works of more than 400 artists from 50 of the world’s leading modern, contemporary art and design galleries. Now in its fourth edition, Abu Dhabi Art will be held once again at the Manarat Al Saadiyat exhibition centre as well as the UAE Pavilion, designed by the architect Lord Norman Foster.

TDIC to award Louvre Abu Dhabi contract by June

Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development and Investment Council (TDIC) has said it will award the main construction contract for its flagship project, The Louvre Abu Dhabi, before the end of June. The master developer originally planned to assign the main contractor for the Saadiyat Island project in June 2010, but has pushed back the contract award date at least three times.
