Mubadala is the developer of NYUAD’s main campus on a build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis.

The Preliminary Services Agreement (PSA) with Serco was signed on 15 December 2010. Under the PSA, Serco will deliver preoperational services including design reviews, life cycle optimization and the development of procurement and operational strategies.

At commercial close of the Project, Serco is expected to enter into the Operating Agreement under which it will continue to deliver early operator services leading into ramp-up phase with full facilities management services commencing during Q1 2014 and continuing over a 25 year period.

NYUAD consists of a highly-selective liberal arts and sciences college (with engineering), distinctive graduate programs, and a world center for advanced research and scholarship, all fully integrated with and connected to NYU in New York.

The Saadiyat Island campus will include extensive classroom, library and information technology facilities, laboratories, student, faculty and staff housing, athletic and performance facilities. NYUAD is expected to have a student body upwards of 2,600.
