First Saadiyat Island properties ready for delivery later this year

The freehold first residential community villas at Saadiyat Island on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi are getting ready to be delivered later this year, said Rashid Al Suwaidi, Director of Sales and Leasing at the Tourism Development and Investment Company, or TDIC.

Abu Dhabi MuseumMembers of the media were accompanied by TDIC officials to tour the Jawaher Al Saadiyat show villas that were opened on Sunday, giving the public a preview of residential life on Saadiyat.

Speaking to Khaleej Times during the tour, Al Suwaidi said that 344 residential villas are slated to be ready in the first phase and will be handed over to their owners later this year. Out of this number, more than two-thirds of it have already been sold out.

Al Suwaidi said that the freehold villas are to be offered only to GCC nationals, while other nationalities residing in the UAE can have it leased for 99 years.

The exclusive villas contain three to six bedrooms along with parks, swimming pools and other recreational facilities. Each villa has its own individualistic features for family comfort. The price range is from Dh6.5 million to Dh39 million.

The villas’ spaces range between 3,950 and 14,994 square feet.

TDIC is the master developer of Saadiyat island in Abu Dhabi. Jawaher Al Saadiyat, a collection of 10 luxury show villas, are premium show homes that are replicas of the Saadiyat Beach villas on Saadiyat Beach.

Jawaher Al Saadiyat comprises a landscaped street, two parks, and villas in a variety of sizes and styles. The fully furnished homes features landscaped gardens and terraces, and offer an exclusive  preview of the distinguished lifestyle the future residents of Saadiyat Beach Villas are set to enjoy.

“The delivery of the show villas is a key milestone in the development of the Saadiyat Beach Villas on the island, and we are confident that these unique homes will appeal to a sophisticated clientele looking for a differentiated product,” said Al Suwaidi.

The Saadiyat Beach Villas will be the island’s first residential community.
